How do I determine whether a hex is in supply?
Supply is generated by friendly strongholds and outposts and extends into their neighboring hexes. The supply status of a hex is determined by plotting a supply path from a stronghold or outpost to the target hex. Much like movement, supply is traced through hexes and points are expended depending on the type of terrain. The default supply range is 4 points for all factions except for the Free Mutants whose default supply range is 5 points. Yellow bordered hexes cost one point. Brown hexes cost two points and dark brown hexes cost three points. In order to view potential supply generated by your stronghold and outposts you can click on the “Supply” button at the bottom the “Main Game” interface. An overlay of green hexes indicating hexes that are potentially in supply will become visible. You can toggle the display off by left clicking on the “Supply” button again. IMPORTANT: Remember that the overlay represents potential supply based on known information. A hex might not actually be in supply if an enemy unit or facility which is not presently visible on the map is blocking supply.
