OOC: Here are the first 4 turns. Newborn twins do not make for much free time at night! :P Will get the next 6 turns done and up tonight, the Geat DNA Helix willing! And, as ever in succession games if my Hivemind personality criticises anything done by any previous personalities please do not take it personally! I come from the Dwarf Fortress tradition of succession games where calling the previous rulers insane whackjobs and questioning their motives is part of the fun. I do not believe that I am, in fact, a 'better' player of AE than any other and what makes AE's AP system great is that you begin to see where other players prefer to prioritise their actions. :)

I awaken. I am the Hivemind for the Xeno Close Assault Ship Golden Egg. No. That is incorrect. I am an Emergency Backup One Time Use Personality. This is not good. I analyse what data, memories and emotive urges I can access. The ship is down on Sol3Prime in nonflight condition. I, too, am badly damaged. It seems I have already initiated at least two iterations of Emergency Backup One Time Use Personalities. This indicates that my mind matrix is even worse off than I initially thought and that I too will likely fail at some point. No matter, though crippled in cognitive functions my mission is clear. Secure the local area from the Enemy, the Slavethings and any local Foodthings, assimulate all local foodthings and wait for succor to arrive. The battlefleet surely knows we are down.

Actions:
The assault commences!
Nya'rlax moves his troops outside the Underhive and lays seige, cutting them off from the outside world, though out of supply himself. The foodthing Humungous cannot lose face in front of its minions and sallies to attack!
Humungous, being very aggressive, gains the initiave and attacks. His Mercenary Tank scores 3 hits on an Enzyme Thrower but Nya-rlax employs a Hunger, Devour and Feed tactic barrage to strip Humungous of his fate and save the ET.
Next the Psyker Team confuses the Dune Raiders but they fail to damage a Raider unit, their flanking ability not kicking in. The Raiders attack the Psyker Team but fail to hit. An Enzyme Thrower, the Drudges and the Drones all hit back at the Merc Tank but it rides out the shooting with 2/6 health.

By the end of the next round of fighting the Psyker Team were killed by the Dune Raiders while the Merc Tank was finished by an Enzyme Thrower. The next round saw the Beasts destroy the Dune Raiders and the Drudges close assault and destroy a Raider unit. Finally the last Raider is destroyed by one of the Enzyme Throwers and Humungous himself is slain in the route. The Underhive is ours!

Meanwhile to the east Mi'go infiltrates a destroyed city to discover it infested with feral Howlers who no longer respond to our, their rightful masters, commands, while the Demo Team cirles outside city limits finding nothing.
Troubling these glad tidings are readings indicating the the Rapture Cult Project is progressing, whatever it is.

Strike Force moves out of the Underhive towards the Slaver controlled town to our NW and lastly our Critters creep back into supply to the North and I am ordering all Monstrosities into the landing pods for launch we willbe in cklose orbit soon heavy atmosphere alreasddy wait npo no oh, i think facooliitieis going intiiaing emergnecyuy backuppp....

Strike Force has moved to engage the Slavers. Victory was obtained in one exchange of fire. No damage sustained despite continuous attempts to avenge their dead by counter attacking my beloved Enzyme Throwers. Even the Drudge was unharmed.
Tech Recovery team was set up to boost resources.
Mi’go has been moved to a better hidden ground. Nothing new was discovered while on the move.
Exploration continued with M’sisilk – nothing to report.

Consideration – A severe lack of recce leaves me blind to attack by stealth. Possibilities that need to be explored are getting M’sisilk recon support ASAP or pulling back Critter in case of an attack.

Strike Force has been moved closer to Waste Raiders suspected location.
Exploration continued with M’sisilk. Hive traitors (Mutants) are discovered in close proximity to the Underhive! They have gained control of the Trident Submarine. It is guarded by a band of Skull Crashers armed with Venom Ammo. A powerful force (Pincers) is in the location and is commanded by Blastomere! It is however in our supply range.
Immediate need for greater firepower is imminent.
A search through GE’s data finds C’thil Phang available for reactivation.
C’thil Phang is deployed in the garrison for developing a training program.
Further investigation in GE’s data finds Ptah available for reactivation.
Shogg is reinvigorated. He moves out with stealth in mind.
Exploration continued with Critter pack. Nothing to report.
Once more pouring over GE’s data I find a regiment of Brutes ready for reactivation.

Brutes have been ordered to garrison the Underhiv, hardening its defences.
Strike Force has engaged the Raiders in hope of expanding resource base.
Once again we obtain victory without serious resistance. There is greater reason to feast however, as we gain access to a node of biologic matter.
N’kaai has been revitalised in hope of future technological development.
GE supply is scanned for a functioning Research Nest and immediately found!
The Research Nest is repaired to functioning state with upgraded modifications.
Critter pack explores closer to the human stronghold and finds little of threat. The humans can be disposed of at a later time. No facilities are seen making Mi’go’s talents unnecessary at the moment.

Mutants try to hunt M’sisilk down but M’sisilk outwits them and no further chase is given.

M’sisilk has being ordered to seek shelter in a well covered area. This has leads him to come in contact with a Pump Station Zebra complex currently defended by Rad Zombies commanded by Morpheus. It is not, however, in supply. This is unfortunate as victory would be certain had it been in supply.
Feed Pens are deployed by the Strike Force.
Critter pack seeks a better sheltered position near the human stronghold.
Psychic Enchanter has been developed and Tsathogg was equipped urgently to improve further production.

Karyon seems foolish enough not to have noticed the Hive Minds gaze. He remains where he was.

Shogg is moved back to the Crashed Factory Pod. It was a mistake to move him away but the Crashed Factory Pod is still undefended.
Strike Force moves out to destroy the energy Collector. Katyon is still there. The fool! He is captured without much resistance.
Mi’go once again changes his position around the human stronghold. Nothing to report.

Action Report:
Mutants do not move in on the our Strike Force for one reason or another.
The Crashed Factory Pod is still defenceless. Shogg is ordered to come out of hiding and lays waste to the Collectors.
After the satisfaction of demolishing three collectors at once with a single hero Shogg is ordered to move to the Trident Submarine for recon with stealth. No significant change is observed in force but Pincers now have a Ravager which puts Shogg at risk.
The possibility of attacking the Trident Submarine defences immediately is considered but declined. Victory would most likely cost the irreplaceable Enzyme Throwers.
The Strike Force moves back to the Underhive to prepare for the assault.
Two Invigoration Serums are developed for the Enzyme Throwers and the expensive Drones.
