Carlos Pendergrast Visiting Tactician

Postby Rustbelter » Mon Apr 14, 2008 5:14 pm

My favorite trick is to stealth Carlos "the Jackal" Pendergrast into an opposing faction's HQ - and if it has an academy, even though I haven't yet drawn an academy - while I'm there, I load up on Tactic cards generated using the opposition's academy!!

If this is a "bug" and unintentional - I think it should be kept anyway!

*rofl* I can just picture that encounter.

"Er, who are you and why are you at our academy?"

"Nothing to see here, move along!"

I like the idea, actually. It could represent a spy getting a look at how the enemy is being trained, and designing tactics to thwart them.

Hm. I suppose that could work... perhaps you'd need to have an espionage roll as well, though? Otherwise they'd just be wandering in.

Machine: Hey! You don't look like a machine!
Pendergrast: Uh.... new model... fancy skin...

Eliminated!?

Boo -- so much for the joy of sneakiness!

I've been putting off loading the Cults because I was still having too much fun w/the game as it was. Now I have further reason to stay Cult Free!

You can play 1.07 sans cults. This gets you various bug fixes as well as the base siege defense fixie thingie and some other tweaks.

There are people that play cult free and read the forums? I would think the only people who didn't have cults loaded yet were the ones that installed the game and still haven't managed to pull themselves out of it long enough to check the internet for other important stuff! ;-P

I'm historically a lurker - don't have enough time to play as much as most I'm guessing - but I do love the game!! I also like to keep the game interesting as long as possible. I suppose I'll upload the latest version now though.
