Excommunication and Vassalage

Postby Sord » Wed Apr 06, 2011 12:18 am

I learned a little something today.

Apparently, if you request to become a blood vassal and your prospective blood lord is accused of heresy at the same time, that during the resolution, the conclave will FIRST accept your offer of vassalage and demote you to lord, THEN they will throw out all but ONE of your votes (because you are now just a lord), which will do NOTHING to exonerate your blood lord, which results in them being excommunicated, which of course means you also get EXCOMMUNICATED and are no longer a vassal!

I don't know who got paid off to come up with such a ridiculous system, but I do know that the conclave will PAY for this.

On the plus side, I can still move freely through their territory, I won't draw any event cards, and I'm not able to perform any diplomatic actions. So it's kinda like being a vassal...
